Why am I not getting any Kobo sales reported?

Last October, Kobo introduced a captcha to their login screen, which is designed to stop "bots" from logging in to their system. This was not directed at us (in fact, they are fine with what we do and indicated that they would cooperate in finding a way for us to get our users' sales data from them), but it did stop us from getting access to your sales there.

Kobo have recently provided us with a new feed for getting sales information for our customers. In order to make this work for you, there are two additional steps that you must perform. If you go to the BookTrakr Credentials page for Kobo (go to the Stores tab of the Settings screen and click the Edit button next to Kobo), you are presented with a form to fill out. Once you've filled out the form, click the "Generate Email" button; this should create an email in your email program for you to send -- you can just click Send and the email will go with all the necessary information. If for some reason clicking the "Generate Email" button does not work, you can click the "Display Email" and a browser tab will open with the contents of the email -- you can copy and paste into your email program to generate the email to send to Kobo. Once you've generated the email, click the "Save" button in BookTrakr (this is very important so that we will know your Kobo publisher ID to match with the sales information we receive from Kobo).

The sales feed currently only goes back to January 2, 2019 (or two weeks before Kobo processes your consent email, whichever is later). We are still working with them to determine how we will get the rest of the sales data going back to October 2018, and we will update this document when a determination is made.

I did submit to Kobo on the 28th and am still waiting for them to give my sales to BookTrakr. I'm assuming manpower is down over the holidays.

I just did this again, even though I did it in December. Not sure if it was necessary, but figured it can't hurt? :)
