What's an Event?

Events are a way to note a date or period when something special happened. BookTrakr will mark that event in your sales and ranking charts so you can easily see its effect. Single-date events are shown with dashed lines; multi-date events are shown with a shaded background.

You can create an event for anything that might affect your sales—a new release, a sale or promotion, a holiday, or a widely-read review would all be good reasons to add an event. You can create events in the Settings tab—look for the Events section on the left.
