Yes, such changes absolutely affect BookTrakr. Our programmers need to modify BookTrakr to accommodate the changes, and until that happens, BookTrakr will be inaccurate. Unfortunately, we aren't given any advance notice that changes are in the works; therefore, our response must be reactive rather than proactive. For this reason, we cannot ever guarantee uninterrupted service--but we do sincerely promise to minimize any downtimes to the best of our abilities.
BookTrakr has been fetching data daily since March 2012, so we've dealt with several instances of bookstores changing their dashboard reporting already. We're happy to say that the resulting downtimes have been minimal, fixed by the next day at worst. We hope to continue this track record.
